Book presentation: Writing the Rules for Europe

On December 12th the 'Institut des sciences de la communication du CNRS', Paris-Sorbonne organises a 'Journée historiographique du LabEx EHNE (axe 1)' (Historiographical dau LabEx EHNE axis 1) called 'De la civilisation matérielle aux flux européens : énergie, mobilité, communication'. ('From material civilization to European flows: energy, mobility, communication.')

During this day Johan Schot will give the lecture "Writing the Rules for Europe. The origins and impact of technocratic internationalism", where he also will present the book "Writing the Rules for Europe: Experts, Cartels, International Organizations", which Schot has co-written with Wolfram Kaiser. This book is part of the 6-volume book series "Making Europe: Technology and Transformations, 1850-2000".
